WebTamiya thinner is very good in my "H" brush, and gives me fewer problems with tip build-up than 91% alcohol alone. 91% alcohol is very good for cleaning the "H" with (I keep a 3 OZ bottle of it on the table when painting and a 3 OZ bottle of plain water.) WebI use 70% isopropyl alcohol to clean up my air brush from acrylics. It might be difficult to get one nowadays though. Another option is acetone. It can dissolve different types of paint other than acrylics. This is one of the main components of Tamiya air brush cleaner (~50%). However, this might damage rubber o-rings found in some air brushes. WebWindex also works well for Tamiya Acrylics.
