Rear antilock light on 1992 ranger

Found it won't burn out, and originally thought it was a power problem, but instead was told it was likely the rear anti lock. (most 2.0 2wds didn't have it) The sensor reads off of a "tone ring" that is mounted to the ring gear carrier. USUALLY if the light is comming on metal chips that are a normal fact of life in a rear axle are bridging the magnetic pickup on the axle sensor. If the connection is weak or loose one or both lights will come on depending on what wires are not making connection.
