If you are out of shape as in scrawny stoner, body weight is a great start, as it will build muscle endurance, and then strength, which is better for a skinny body type.

WebYou certainly can build a good amount of muscle without equipment. If you want to gain a lot of muscle mass, lifting weights is probably the better option.
