WebJul 8, 2024 · IIRC correctly, cars made after april of last year have a new fob that goes to sleep after 5-10 minutes of no motion, preventing the relay attack. can test by putting the fob near the car (on the roof or on the windshield) and waiting to see if the door still opens after 10 minutes of the fob being stationary.
